Well, I've heard some good reviews about Nightfall and I've got my eye on it. I've got enough cash to buy it for $50, plus a 10% sales tax or something. I'm not sure if there's any place with such a high tax, and I know where I could buy it.

The main problem is my brother. He's trying his best to stop me from buying Nightfall. He's acting like a third parent IMO. Also, my mom doesn't seem that keen on me spending my money.

So I ask advice on how I could get NF. A few things, though: I can't use the ingame store/buy NF online. And is it true that some NF boxes come sealed with no CD key ?

If u are unfortunate enough to get a box with no key then, yes. but thats probably very rare to happen. IMO $50 could go to alot more useful things then Nightfall (imo). and i also heard that nightfall was cheaper then $50s now aswell, all i can say is find a ride to the store from a friend and buy it, since by the sound of it i doubt you're able to drive yourself.

Or another thought is you could find someone who will allow you to use their credit card (for online buying, because it actually seems cheaper) and just pay them the cash.

I forgot to add another point or two... I'm not exactly what you would call "popular." I might try asking my dad to buy NF for me, and then pay him with my own cash, but I dunno if that will work.

Also, my brother might rat on me, and I don't know why but my parents seem to think I'm too stupid to handle my own money -.-* They don't seem to understand that there is another person trying to control my life.

It's 35 bucks on Amazon - a little more than Might and Magic 7 when my dad got it for my bro. Yeesh, and he didn't even pay anything in return -.-

As far as the issue with handling your own money, you have to make your parents see that you are in fact able to do it. Point out how you were responsible enough to save your allowance, pay check or whatever to get something that you wanted.

Also, your brother is just that. He's your brother not your parent or guardian. If it's really that much of a problem then you need to sit down with all three of them and explain that you want more freedom to make your own choices and not having them constantly watching you or on your back about everything. Be sure to give good examples and be certain that you are in fact ready for more freedom and responsibility.

Since I don't actually know your age I think that's all the advice I can give you at the moment.

Make friends with someone who has a credit card. Or ask your Granny if she'll buy it for Christmas or another relative. Ignore your brother.
